Journalists - People whose job it is to report on the news.
Donald Trump - An American politician, media personality, and businessman serving as the 47th president of the United States since January 2025. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as the 45th president from 2017 to 2021.
President - In some countries, the leader is called the president.
Diversity - A range of different things. Diversity on television would require a representative mix of different people in terms of age, gender, race, sexuality, socio-economic status, physical ability, religion, and other ideologies.
LGBTQ - Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning and other terms (e.g. non-binary).
George Orwell - Real name Eric Arthur Blair, a world-renowned 20th-century novelist, most famous for his political novels Animal Farm and 1984.
Government - The group of people who govern - or lead - the country.
Propaganda - Information, which may be biased or misleading, used to promote a certain viewpoint.
Slavery - When people are owned by others, and often forced to work without pay.
Capitol - The building in Washington DC where the US Congress meets. It was named after the Capitoline Hill in Rome.
