Submarines - A warship that operates completely underneath the water. They are often at sea for a long time and have weapons.
GDP - Short for Gross Domestic Product, the measure of all the goods and services produced inside a country.
Vladimir Putin - Russia’s ruler since 2000. He is a strong opponent of the West.
Invasion - When armed forced enter and try to take control of another country.
Welfare cuts - Cuts to help given by the state to those who need it, especially those without much money.
Dilemma - A situation in which a difficult choice must be made, often between two options.
