How was Adolescence made?

Hit Netflix drama Adolescence was made in four continuous takes. This means that at the start of each episode, the camera was switched on and it was not switched off until the end. There are no cuts, no camera switches and no deleted scenes. It presents a unique challenge for actors, directors and camera operators. So how was it made? This video explains.
