Authentic - True or realistic.
Imam - The person who leads prayers in a Mosque, an Islamic place of worship.
Mosque - A Muslim place of worship.
Marginalised - Treating a person, group or idea as if they are unimportant.
Quran - The holy book of Islam, whose words are believed by Muslims to have been passed directly from God to the Prophet Muhammad in a series of visions spanning 23 years.
Compassion - Showing feelings of sadness, sympathy and genuine care for other people's suffering.

Conversion therapy - An attempt to change someone's sexual orientation or gender identity. Many countries have laws against conversion therapy.

Federal - In the USA laws are made both by individual states and the federal government, which governs all states together.
