Abseiling - Descending a rock face or other near-vertical surface by using a doubled rope coiled round the body and fixed at a higher point.
RAF - The Royal Air Force is the UK's air force.
Lynch Mob - A crowd of people who kill or try to kill (someone) illegally as a punishment.
Nato - The North Atlantic Treaty Organisation was founded in 1949 to unite Western democracies in Europe and North America against the perceived growing threat of the USSR. It now has 31 members.
