Criminal - Someone who breaks the law.
Judges - The person in a court of law who decides how the law should be applied.
Uganda - A landlocked country in East Africa with a population of 47 million.
Guilty - Responsible for doing something wrong.
Slave - Somebody who is forced to work without pay and cannot leave.
Slavery - When people are owned by others, and often forced to work without pay.
Slave trade - The Atlantic slave trade was the transporting of Africans across the Atlantic Ocean to be slaves in the Americas. It took place from the 16th to the 19th Centuries.
Debt - When you have borrowed money and need to pay it back.
Complicit - To be involved with others in an unlawful or morally wrong activity.
