Some think it is time to accept the internet has been bad for us. On social media, people can show off perfect lives - even if the reality is different. American children today do not read as much as before the internet.

But others say the internet has good sides too. We can talk to people around the world. And we can learn about anything we want to in only a few seconds.

Yes! Before the internet, people could spend their time reading and learning. They were happier. And now, the internet could leave people without jobs too!

No! The internet means we can speak to people all around the world and learn anything we want to. We cannot blame the internet if we use it in the wrong way.
