Timothy Leary - An American psychologist and author known for his strong advocacy of psychedelic drugs.
Gaza - The smaller of two Palestinian territories, home to two million people. It is located on the Mediterranean coast, bordered by Israel and Egypt.
Peabody Award - The Peabody Award was created to honour excellence in radio broadcasting as the radio industry's equivalent of the Pulitzer Prize.
Emmy - The Emmy Awards are television industry awards.
Gen Z - Short for Generation Z, meaning people born in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
MP - Member of Parliament. There are 650 MPs representing people in different areas of the UK.
Abducted - Taken by force, or kidnapped.
Pakistan - A country in South Asia with a population of 242 million, making it the fifth-most populated country.
LGBT - Stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender. The initialism, as well as some of its common variants, functions as an umbrella term for sexuality and gender identity.
Gisele Pelicot - A French woman whose husband has admitted to drugging her and inviting dozens of men to abuse her without her knowledge. She has waived her right to anonymity.
Tranquilised - Given a drug that causes calm or sleep.
Marginalised - Treating a person, group or idea as if they are unimportant.
