PayPal - An online payments company.
Shares - A tiny unit of ownership of a company which is available to purchase.
Stock Market - A series of exchanges where shares in public companies are issued, bought and sold.
Shareholder - Someone who owns shares in a company. Owning a share means somebody owns a very small part of the company.
GDP - Short for Gross Domestic Product, the measure of all the goods and services produced inside a country.
Democracy - A system of government based on the idea of rule by the people.
Oligarchy - A system of government in which a small elite rules.
