Donald Trump - An American politician, media personality, and businessman serving as the 47th president of the United States since January 2025. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as the 45th president from 2017 to 2021.
President - In some countries, the leader is called the president.
Vladimir Putin - Russia’s ruler since 2000. He is a strong opponent of the West.
Alaska - A US state in the extreme northwest of the continent of North America. It is separated from the rest of the USA by Canada.
Ukraine - A country in Eastern Europe. It was invaded by Russia in February 2022.
Invade - When an army enters a country or place to take it over.
Red carpet - A long, red floor covering that is put down for an important or famous person when they go on an official visit or attend a special event.
Private - Belonging to one person or group of people only. Also, the lowest rank of soldier in most armies.
Media - Television, newspapers and other sources of news.
Productive - Getting a lot of useful things done.
Campaigned - Working in an organised way to achieve a goal, or trying to persuade people to vote for you in an election.
Arrested - Stopped by the police and taken to a police station.
Mission - A special job or task that someone is given to do.
