ICE - In the USA, Immigrations and Customs Enforcement.
Minneapolis - A major city in the US state of Minnesota.
Detained - Held in official custody.
Deportation - Forcing someone to leave a country.
Human trafficking - The recruitment, transportation or trade of humans for forced labour or sexual exploitation.
Modern slavery - When an individual is exploited by others for personal or commercial gain. They can be tricked, coerced or forced to lose their freedom. Sometimes modern slavery involves human trafficking and often forced labour.
Amnesty - An official pardon for wrongdoing. Amnesty International is a charity dedicated to upholding human rights.
GDP - Short for Gross Domestic Product, the measure of all the goods and services produced inside a country.
