What's happening?

The stars were arriving at this year's Met Gala in New YorkA city in the USA. It is in a state also called New York. . This year the theme was in in honour of Karl Lagerfeld, a fashion designer who died in 2019. He was known for his pet cat.

The event is to raise money for the Metropolitan Museum of ArtThe largest art museum in the Americas. It is in New York, USA.'s Costume Institute. This year the guests are thought to have paid £40,000 each to go to the event.
