Palestine Action - A pro-Palestinian protest network that uses direct action tactics in the UK.
RAF - The Royal Air Force is the UK's air force.
Complicity - To be involved with others in an unlawful or morally wrong activity.
War crimes - Violations of the laws and customs of war.
Palestinians - People from Palestine, an area located in the Southern Levant region of Western Asia.
Home secretary - In Britain, they are responsible for national security, immigration and policing.
Proscribe - Forbid by law.
Terrorist - Using violence or the threat of violence to create fear among a wide group of people.
Vandalism - Deliberately destroying someone else's property.
Civilians - People who are not in the army or the police.
9/11 - A series of terrorist attacks that took place in the USA on 11 September 2001. It is known as 9/11 as Americans write the month first, and then the date. The attacks killed 2,996 people. Many of them died when two planes were hijacked and hit the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York, causing them to collapse.
Citizenship - A legal status meaning a person has a right to live in a country. There are different ways to become a citizen of a country.
Dissent - To hold or express opinions against a prevailing idea or policy, once used in England and Wales describe those who rejected the Anglican church.
Dictatorship - A form of government in which one person possesses all the power without any limits.
