Addictive - So enjoyable that you do not want to stop.
Saturated fats - Fats found in food such as butter, cheese and red meat. In large quantities they can lead to health problems such as heart disease.
Artificial Sweeteners - Synthetic sweeteners characterised by a strong sweetening flavour without calories, which may be linked to increased risks of obesity, type 2 diabetes, heart disease and even cancer.
Additives - A substance added to something else to change its properties.
Colourants - A substance added to another substance to change its colour.
Tobacco - A substance smoked in cigarettes. It contains nicotine, which is addictive.
Nicotine - The substance found in tobacco that people become addicted to. It can also be made artificially.
Adrenaline - A hormone made by the body in response to a stressful or threatening situation.
Dopamine - A hormone and neurotransmitter that plays several important roles in the brain and body, providing us with positive sensations, rewarding us for evolutionarily good behaviours like eating food.
Cancer - A disease in which some of the body's cells grow in an uncontrollable way. There are lots of different types of cancer.
Capitalism - A form of economy characterised by private property and competition between companies.
