How does Eurovision work?

It is a television spectacle, broadcast live to millions of people around the world. But behind the scenes, Eurovision is tightly choreographed. Stage managers have just 50 seconds between each song to prepare huge props, including fire, for the next act. So how do they do it? This video from The Wall Street Journal explains.
