Wildlife researchers pretend to be worms

Wild minds: Researchers in Somerset have been exploring animal consciousness by asking human volunteers to embody local wildlife.

Can we know how an animal thinks?  In Somerset, volunteers became earthworms, kestrels and otters, slithering, soaring and splashing, in an attempt to glimpse lives utterly unlike our own.
