Fifa - The Federation Internationale de Football Association is the world's highest governing body of association football.
Agenda - Plan of things to be done, or list of items to be discussed at a meeting.
Fanatic - Someone who fervently and enthusiastically believes in something.
Neutrality - Finland’s position in the Cold War, where it did not oppose the Soviet Union in return for remaining independent, gave rise to the term Finlandisation.
Authoritarian - Enforcing strict obedience to authority.
Qatar - A small country on the Arabian Peninsula, bordering Saudi Arabia. Like its larger neighbour, it has experienced rapid economic development but maintained strict conservative religious codes.
Commonwealth - Officially called the Commonwealth of Nations, it was set up in 1926. There are 54 members in all. It grew out of the British Empire and many members, although not all, were former British colonies.
