Transatlantic slave trade - The Atlantic slave trade was the transporting of Africans across the Atlantic Ocean to be slaves in the Americas. It took place from the 16th to the 19th Centuries.
WHO - Short for the World Health Organisation.
MEPs - Members of the European Parliament.
Nicotine - The substance found in tobacco that people become addicted to. It can also be made artificially.
LGBTQ+ - LGBTQ+ stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (or sometimes questioning), and others. The "plus" represents other sexual identities including pansexual and Two-Spirit.
