Donald Trump - An American politician, media personality, and businessman serving as the 47th president of the United States since January 2025. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as the 45th president from 2017 to 2021.
Iran - A country in Western Asia, officially called the Islamic Republic of Iran. It has a population of 84 million.
Nuclear weapons - A bomb or other weapon that uses nuclear energy to cause a big explosion.
Ceasefire - An end to fighting — often temporary.
Enemy - A person who hates and tries to harm another.
Israel - A country in the Middle East, and the only Jewish nation in the modern period. It is seen by Jews, Christians and Muslims as the Holy Land.
Definite - Clear, certain, and not likely to change.
Iraq War - A long conflict that ran in Iraq from 2003 to 2011. It began with a US invasion to topple ruler Saddam Hussein.
George W Bush - The president of the USA between 2001 and 2009. His victory in 2000 was controversial: he lost the popular vote and many believe he only won the election because the Supreme Court halted a recount of ballots in Florida.
Iraq - A country in the Middle East with a population of 43.5m.
Tony Blair - Tony Blair was the leader of the Labour party. He was British prime minister from 1997 to 2007.
Civilian - A person who is not in the armed services or the police force.
Consequences - The result of an action.
