What is Down’s Syndrome?

Last Friday was World Down's Syndrome Day. Between one in 700 and one in 1,000 babies born have Down's Syndrome. This makes it the world's most common genetic condition. You likely already know or will meet people in your life who have Down's Syndrome. And yet there are still many people who do not know what Down's Syndrome is or what life is like if you have Down's Syndrome. In this video from The New York Times, filmmaker Jonatas Rubert explores how people see his little brother Tiago, who has Down's Syndrome.
