Would you vote for May’s withdrawal agreement?
It has been 935 days since the EU referendum — and tonight Parliament will finally vote on the withdrawal deal negotiated by Theresa May. It will probably be rejected. Under the deal, the UK would continue to abide by EU rules until a “transition period” ends in 2020. The UK’s future trade relationship with the EU would be negotiated during this time. It would also avoid a hard border in Northern Ireland by putting extra checks between Northern Ireland and the UK. Is this a good deal? What do you think? Discuss this week’s “You Decide” with the rest of your class and make your vote!
