Why is the media so confusing?

The BBC, The Times, The Guardian — like other mainstream titles, they are supposed to help us see the big picture and hear the important messages amidst the background noise. So, why do they fail? Why are we left so hopelessly confused and overloaded, especially at moments of national crisis? In this video, a young philosopher explains.
