The robot chef that can mix, chew and taste

Will cooking become a lost art? Robot chefs could soon be an important part in households and restaurants. What's happening?  “Good morning, Sarah,” says the robot. “What would you like for breakfast?” Sarah smiles. “Two pancakes, please, Robbie,” she says. The robot beeps. A few minutes later, Sarah has a perfect pancake on her plate.  Find out more This could become a common scenario.  Scientists at Cambridge university have made a robot that can chew. This means it can taste food just like a human. The robot looks a bit like one in a car factory. But it can make delicious meals. Scientists hope that robot chefs will become a key part of daily life. In 2018, one company made Flippy. It can turn over hamburgers when they are cooked. Now it has made a new robot called Chippy. It makes tortilla chips.  Will cooking become a lost art? Some say Yes! We like things to be easy. If there are machines to cook for us, people will stop learning to prepare food for themselves and will forget how to do it. Others think No. People do not just cook to eat.
