King Charles III

It is the moment that he has been preparing for his entire life — and it has been a long life. Charles III will be the oldest British monarch ever to be crowned at his coronation on 6 May. He was born into a time of empire, when Britain had colonies and the world was still recovering from a devastating war. The country he reigns over today is almost unimaginably different. What kind of leader will Charles III be? Is he the right person to represent modern Britain? And in the 21st Century, should Britain even have a monarchy at all?
