What's happening?

It was supposed to be a positive event for the Royal Family. Camilla, the Queen ConsortThe wife of the current king. , had invited 300 people to Buckingham PalaceThe home of Britain's king or queen. as part of a campaign against abuse in the home. 

But the event has made the headlines for the wrong reasons. A Black charity boss, Ngozi Fulani, was speaking to a senior assistant of Queen Elizabeth II, who died earlier this year.

The assistant, Lady Susan Hussey, asked what part of Africa she was from - and seemed to refuse to accept she could be from Britain.

Yes! Incidents like this show that the Royal Family has a much bigger problem with racism. 

No! We cannot say that the British monarchy is racist due to one event. And many young royals want to make sure the family is modern and welcoming.
