It has been a year since Donald Trump was sworn in as president of the United States. That means 12 months of outrage, insults, scandals - and the occasional success. Has he had a good year?
Has it really been a year?: It has - Trump's inauguration took place on 20 January 2017. At the end of his first year, Americans are divided over his achievements. According to a recent poll, 34% of voters would give him an A or B grade for his performance, while 35% would give him an F for Fail.
What have been the biggest rows? One of the biggest rows was also one of the first: a week after becoming president, he blocked people from entering the USA from seven countries with mostly Muslim populations. The move attracted thousands of protesters to airports, and was eventually undone by the courts.
In August he caused outrage when he falsely said that there was violence "on many sides" of a racist march in the city of Charlottesville.
Most recently, he was forced to declare that he was "not a racist" after insulting Haiti, El Salvador and African countries in a meeting.
What about his biggest triumphs? The US economy is still growing, and unemployment is at its lowest levels since 2000.
Although his promised wall on the Mexican border has not been built, fewer people have tried to cross into America illegally.
In December, he ended 2017 by passing a major tax billA printed or written statement of the money owed for goods or services. Can also mean a draft of a suggested new law presented to lawmakers for discussion. . "It's always a lot of fun when you win," he said.
How many people did he insult? According to a regularly updated list by The New York Times, he has insulted 424 people, places and things on Twitter since he first ran for president.
Some of his biggest targets have been North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un (who he nicknamed "Little Rocket Man") and many news outlets (such as the "Failing New York Times").
How many whoppers did he tell? According to another regularly updated list - this one by The Washington Post - he has made 2,001 "false or misleading claims" since his inauguration. That's 5.6 per day, on average.
His most repeated claims involve the economy, ObamacareA healthcare law introduced by President Barack Obama., and the investigation into his team's
alleged dealings with Russia, which he insists is "dead". (It's not.)
Finally... how many people has he fired? True to his role on the US Apprentice, Trump has not been afraid of telling people "You're fired".
He fired a national security adviser, his chief of staff, and his chief strategist. In July, a man named Anthony Scaramucci was hired to be the White House communications director, then fired just ten days later.
By far the most scandalous dismissal by was that of FBI Director James Comey. Trump had pressured him to drop the Russia investigation. He refused. Later, Trump admitted that "this Russia thing" was part of the reason he wanted Comey gone.
The investigations, however, continue.
