This week is Anti-Bullying Week. It is a time to help stop bullying.
This year, the goal is to spread kindness.

Experts have been studying bullying. They asked 15,000 children questions about school.
One out of every five said they were bullied a lot.
But it is not all bad. Another survey found that 74% of pupils think their school friends are kind to them.
Some scientists think being kind is something we can practise and get better at.
Is kindness like a muscle we can train?
Some say
Yes! When we are kind we can see how it makes others feel good. This makes us feel good. It makes a circle of happiness.
Others say
No. Some people are naturally kind. They feel for others. They do not need to practice. It works the same the other way around.
