Nothing is quite as exciting as election night. The ups and downs, wins and losses, the passion and the pain as one party triumphs.

That is why some think it is better to have women in charge. They argue women are simply more effective leaders.

During the pandemic, many commentators noted that countries with women leaders managed the virus better.
