In the Atlantic Ocean, a single boat moves through the water. Inside, a teenager sits curled up and looks out at the sea.

The sky is grey, and the waves are very high. But the boat keeps going on its mission. It is on its way to New York with a very special passenger: Greta Thunberg.

This is a scene from film released last year about the activist Greta Thunberg.

In 2019, she was invited to New York to speak at a big meeting about climate change. She decided to go.

But there was a problem: Greta does not travel on planes.

Instead, the activist began a two-week journey across the Atlantic Ocean in an eco-friendly yacht.

Greta first became famous in 2018. Aged 15, she refused to go to school. Instead, she was sitting outside the Swedish parliament with a homemade sign. It read: "Skolstrejk for klimatet."

Soon, she had started a revolution. Other school students joined in. Celebrities supported her. 

Since then, Greta has had a huge impact. In 2019, she led the Global Climate Strike. It was the biggest climate protest in history. 

Some people think her success is because she is authentic. She is not interested in fame or money. She simply wants to save the planet.

No. It is not a superpower. In fact, many people manage fine without it. Lots of the people we admire in today's world are not authentic at all. Celebrities and influencers are just creations based on what fans want. 

Others think 

Yes! People trust and respect Greta because they can see she is honest. She is not in it to be rich and famous. She only wants what is best for the planet. Lots of celebrities used planes to get to the UN meeting in New York. Greta went in a boat so she did not harm the planet. As a result, she gained respect from everyone!
