Yes! And it can be dangerous. Following fashions can stop us being creative. Plus, it is bad for the climate. Making clothes uses a lot of water. We throw away tonnes of clothing every day.

No! Fashion is very important. It has inspired designs and helped make new materials. It does not have to be wasteful. Second-hand fashion is now very common. And it is much easier to borrow an outfit for a special occasion.
