What's happening?

But two years after the pandemic started, some are still asking where it came from. Could it have been made by scientists too? 

Some people think Covid-19 might have been made by scientists who were studying diseasesIllnesses. It could have escaped from their buildings by accident when someone became ill. There are scientists studying disease in WuhanA city in eastern China with a population of 11 million., where Covid-19 was first noticed. 

Others say this is very unlikely. They think the disease started in animals, and then crossed over into humans. It had nothing to do with the work of scientists.
